Exmoor Lockdown Diary 108 - Having Missed a Day, We Bottle Cider - Or Did, A Long Time Ago

I don’t know why I’ve put a photo of Tim Bannerman staring into a strangely decorated bush on a moorland on the top of this post, but it was the first thing I could find after missing an Exmoor Lockdown Diary for the first time yesterday because I was out on the road.

So I guess I’ve broken the lockdown. Had to drive to Devon for a business meeting. Whatever that is. Don’t go in for such things as a rule, but this was a bit different. Interviewed a nice man called Gabriel David who owns Luscombe Drinks. And if you don’t know Luscombe Drinks, then perhaps you should. They are the best soft drinks around.

But today’s video is about non-soft-drinks. In other words, it’s about cider - and about being in France nearly 30 years ago and watching my pal Tim Bannerman bottle his family’s own cider, ably aided and abetted by his son Joshua.
