Walking Madeira's Levadas

Exactly a year ago I was in Madeira. I loved the place. Really loved it. I desperately want to visit again - and especially I want to go walking along the mountain levadas…

Those are the remarkable irrigation canals that run through the island mountains in a myriad of flowing delight.
